Physical work to start the day on Tuesday
The team will return to work this afternoon with activities with the ball on the training pitch at Slaley Hall Hotel
The Real Betis Balompié first team were back training at Slaley this morning, the green-and-white's preseason camp until next Friday. After an afternoon off yesterday in which the players at the preseason camp took advantage of to go to Newcastle, the coach, Julio Velázquez, programmed a morning session to start the day in which physical fitness has been prioritised. This will be the last training session for the Betis team because tomorrow and Thursday 7 August there are two friendly matches against Stoke City and Sunderland AFC.
The group was divided into two distinct sub groups. While some players trained in the gym, the rest did interval training around the golf courses, increasing the rhythm each time the physical trainer, Luis Arnau, asked them to. Later both groups exchanged activities, thus completing the physical circuits designed by the coaching staff.
The training session, which was very demanding, will continue this afternoon with Julio Velázquez in charge. A session in which physical training will give way to work with the ball in which Velázquez will finish defining the last details for tomorrow's match against Stoke City FC. The coach from Salamanca will be able to count on Isaac, who was able to endure the morning session without problems. Moreover,Juanfran was back training separately from the rest of his teammates, as did Lolo Reyes, who continues with his personalised recovery plan under the watchful eye of Fran Molano.
