Real Betis first team has trained today on the pitch at Benito Villamarín Stadium. The session has come with news, has Musonda and Ceballos have returned to work. They came back yesterday after a week gathered with their national teams. Ceballos has completed the whole session. Musonda, on the other hand, has finished part of the exercises and then has been doing regenerative work.

Once the training was finished, Germán Pezzella has given a press conference. The Argentine defender has analysed the upcoming match against Club Atletico de Madrid.

Game at Club Atletico de Madrid: “If we play well, focus as we have been in other games, we can perform against any rival. This means that we have chances to get a positive result. Obviously, Atletico is a great team, they are very strong at home and is very difficult to score against them. We’ll try to take into action the ideas that Merino has and be focus from the very beginning.”

Chances to win: “We know how they play, their intensity, defensive order and they have dangerous strikers who can score in any chance. They are very strong in defence, they are focus throughout the 90 minutes. We need to try to have ball possession but we also need to be careful because they go very quick in counterattack.”

Season at a personal level: “It’s hard to do an overview right now; we’re focus on all that’s left to play. I knew that my first season in Europe was going to be difficult, and it’s true that I struggled a bit during the first stage. As you start playing games you start feeling better. I need to repeat the positive things and improve those that are not so good. The moment to make an overview is when the season ends.”
