Betis U15 B beat Centro Histórico proclaiming themselves champions of the Preferential U15 League (2-0)

Real Betis Balompié's U16 teams continue to give the Club good news in the form of league trophies. In addition to the championship earned by Betis U16 A coached by Miguel Ángel Caro in Group 1 of the Andalusian First Division, Betis U15 B now have the Seville Preferential League Trophy.

Juanmi Puentenueva's lads got the league title this Saturday in the last match of the season when they beat Centro Histórico by 2-0. Cordero opened the scoring halfway through the first half with a powerful shot at waist height after some nice three-way passing by the Betis team on the edge of the area. Despite the fact that the Betis team had a number of occasions to increase their lead they had to wait almost to the end of the match for their next goal, scored by Asuero.

This result confirms the league title for the team from Heliopolis who in reality only needed one point to confirm their title over their nearest rivals Sevilla FC and AD Nervión. Consequently, Betis U15 B finish the league with 68 points resulting from their 21 victories, 5 draws and 4 defeats. In terms of goal average the Betis team has the best statistic with 88 goals for, and they were second in terms of the least number of goals against with 30. Therefore, it was a deserved Trophy for the effort put in throughout the season by the green-and-white team.

Meanwhile, some 11 teams from the Real Betis Balompié Academy have concluded their respective league competitions this weekend, only Betis U17 B and Betis B have league matches remaining next weekend.
