Alfonso Pedraza, new Real Betis player

Real Betis Balompié have signed player Alfonso Pedraza, from Villarreal CF. The footballer arrives on loan with a purchase option.
Alfonso Pedraza Sag (San Sebastián de los Ballesteros, Cordoba, Spain, 9/04/1996) began his education as a player at Séneca CF, in Cordoba. He was signed by Villarreal CF in 2011 to join their Academy. There, he climbed through the lower categories until he reached the first team in 2015.
He spent the first half of the 2016/2017 season on loan to CD Lugo, and the second part of that year on loan to Leeds United. In 2017/2018 he played on loan in Deportivo Alavés. He returned after that season to Villarreal CF and was confirmed as first team player. Last season, he played 34 games with the yellow team in LaLiga.
Alfonso Pedraza has been capped by Spain U19 and U21. In 2015, he won the EURO U19 and the EURO U21 in 2019.
