Real Betis Balompié and Andrés Guardado have reached an agreement for the contract extension of the player. This way, the Mexican midfielder will be a Green and White until 2023.

José Andrés Guardado Hernández (Guadalajara, Mexico, 1986) arrived to Real Betis in summer of 2017. Since then, he has become an important member of the squad and one of the captains. In total, the Mexican footballer has played 158 official games, scored 4 goals and provided 16 assists.
