Camarasa: “Villarreal has begun the season with bad results but that doesn’t mean anything”
Real Betis player Víctor Camarasa has addressed the media today at Luis del Sol Training Centre. The midfielder has analysed the upcoming game against Villarreal CF and other topics.
Villarreal’s beginning of the season: “It’s normal at the beginning. They have a lot of new players. They show it every year, they are always fighting for Europe. We have to look at that. It means nothing if they’ve started with bad results, we have to prepare the game in the best possible way.”
Playing system: “We’ve been working on it for a time already. It’s true that is a new concept for me and for most of my teammates. It’s about getting better each week and boost our confidence to reach what the gaffer wants.”
Javi García: “Of course. We all know how good he is. You play better knowing that he is going to hold the position. He steals many balls and also has the quality to begin the plays.”
Boudebouz: “He was injured when he arrived and we have trained together much, but what we’ve seen is that he’s a top-quality player. He is good with both feet, he can dribble and also assist. He’s quite complete and he’s going to help us a lot.”
First weeks in the team: “You see it differently from the outside. Once you are here, everything is bigger. This Club has to be as high in the table as possible. That’s why I came here, to help and take the team higher and meet our targets.”
First game at Benito Villamarín: “Many things came together that day. It was the first game and the fans wanted to see the team win. Then, we were also playing in a renovated stadium. It was amazing to see the venue completely full, with so many people singing and cheering.”
