Real Betis Balompié got a good point in a face-to-face match against Real Madrid. Both teams have several chances to score, but none of them managed to break the initial deadlock.

The game began with intensity on both sides and chances for the two sides. Real Betis had the first with a shot from Ayoze that Courtois deflected. Benzema scored in the 12th minute, but the goal was disallowed as Rüdiger touched the ball with his hand.

A few minutes later, Aitor Ruibal gave a good pass to Iglesias, but the striker did not reach the ball to score. Real Madrid pushed in attacked, but Betis were defending really well. Rodrygo had a clear chance, but he sent the ball over the bar.

The game resumed in the second half with more chances. The first one was for Betis and Benzema replied on the other end. At this point, Madrid had more possession but the home side were creating more danger. Borja Iglesias had the best of the game, but was denied by an outstanding save from Courtois.

The best performances, on both teams, came in defence. Both teams tried to attack, finding a fierce opposition when reaching the final third. In the final minutes, the visitors pushed even more, but the score did not move.
