Cartagena and Marbella join Real Betis's list of rivals in the pre-season preparation

The final touches are being put to Real Betis's pre-season campaign, all that remains is to finalise some of the 11 friendly matches that will complete the team's preparation for the 2014/15 season.

The team will report back to work at 8 AM on 13 July at the Training Centre to undertake the necessary medical examinations prior to starting work. The coaching staff understands that preparation for the forthcoming season should not exceed six weeks, and it is for that reason that they have delayed the date set to return to work by a few days.

The first four days the team will train at the Training Centre and on 16 July in the afternoon they will travel to San Pedro de Pinatar, where they shall remain until 23 July. During their stay in Murcia they will play three matches: on the 17th against the English Championship team Brighton (7:00 PM), on 20th against Cartagena (8:00 PM) and on 22nd against Elche (8:00 PM).

When the first stage in San Pedro de Pinatar has finished, Real Betis will return to Seville where they will remain until 1 August alternating training sessions and friendly matches. More specifically, they will be visited by Sanluqueño on 25 July (9:00 PM) and the following day, on the 26th, they will play an away match against Isla Cristina (8:30 PM) to play against the home side. On 31 July, just before their trip to England, they will be visited by Marbella (9:15 PM).

on 1 August the Newcastle stage commences and a friendly match will be organised for the 2nd, in addition to the other two matches already organised: against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium (6 August) and the following day against  Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. On 8 August the expedition will return to Seville to finalise their pre-season preparation.

In the week from the 11th to 17 August, the last week before the beginning of the league competition, the team will play another two matches. Their opponents will be confirmed in the next few days.
