Real Betis present their new installations at the Luis del Sol Training Centre
This afternoon Real Betis Balompié presented the new installations at the Luis del Sol Training Centre. The official ceremony was attended by the President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation,Angel Maria Villar, in addition to Eduardo Herrera, President of the Royal Andalusian Football Federation andJuan Ignacio Zoido, Mayor of the City of Seville. In addition to Luis del Sol and Rafael Gordillo, together with all the members of the Board of Directors who attended on behalf of the Green-and-white Club. The presiding host was Manuel Dominguez Platas.
Thus, the Luis del Sol Training Centre increases its facilities and services for the Real Betis players with the construction of a modern building designed and equipped primarily for the use of the first team, but teams from the youth academy shall also benefit. Not surprisingly, the club's medical services will be centred in this new building where all the players, from the youngest to the oldest, will have at their disposal doctors surgeries, physiotherapy rooms and reanimation units.
Furthermore, the opening of this new building will free up the existing changing room building which will be reformed for use by players from the youth academy who will be provided with a gymnasium and water room amongst other facilities.
The new building, situated between the two main pitches, has 5117 m² of gross floor area and a usable indoor floor area of 3969 m². The building comprises an underground garage, from which all the installations can be directly accessed, an ample changing room for the first team, a pool area with two swimming pools and sauna, a meeting room for the technical staff, a gymnasium with cutting-edge exercise machines, a pharmacy and kit stores. All of which is topped off with a stand with a capacity for 1300 spectators, a multi purpose pressroom and a cafeteria/restaurant with views over the main ground at the Luis del Sol Training Centre.
The modern installations at the Luis del Sol Training Centre will put Real Betis Balompié in the avant-garde of sport, offering facilities such as:
- Grandstand with a capacity for 18 people in the VIP area and 1300 spectators.- 300 m² gymnasium complete with cutting edge exercising machines for the first team.- Cryotherapy area with two pools and a sauna.- Changing rooms with sharing areas and lockers designed especially for the first team.- Physiotherapy area.- Medical area.- Press room with a capacity for 64 people.- Cafeteria.- Car park with spaces for 63 vehicles.
