Exultant about is signing with the green-and-white club and with enthusiasm as his standard, Jorge Casado, Real Betis Balompié's new signing, appeared before members of the press. The left back from Real Madrid Castilla was full of praise for the Heliopolitan club and expressed his satisfaction with this new stage in his footballing career.

Happy with his signing:  “I'm really enthusiastic about it. It has been a tough year for Betis as it has for me. In both cases we ended up relegated. We will put the club back in its rightful place. Betis is a historic Spanish club and one of the greatest institutions in this country”.

Betis's offer: “I didn't have a moment's hesitation about coming here. The negotiations have taken a long time but I wanted to leave Real Madrid Castilla. When I was aware of Betis's interest in me I rejected other offers from clubs in higher divisions. I like this challenge and the opportunity Betis has given me. I want to fight to get back into the First Division”.

Footballer of the future: “My name was always selected when Marcelo or Coentrao were injured. I have had my chances, like when Mourinho gave me my debut. But when you don't get opportunities where you are, you have to leave and look for them elsewhere. I don't think my career has stagnated, I am ambitious with my football and I have a future ahead of me”.

Have you spoken with Adán and Juanfran?: “No, I've hardly spoken with them at all, I've tried to keep everything under wraps because I didn't want to get my hopes up just in case it didn't work out. I have spoken with Juan Carlos a lot, we are great friends. He spoke to me highly about the Club and the city”.
