Real Betis Balompié and Germán Pezzella have reached an agreement to extend the contract of the Argentine player. In this way, the world champion is linked to the Green & White Club until 2026.

Germán Pezzella (Bahía Blanca, Argentina, 1991) joined Real Betis for the first time in the summer of 2015. After two years in the entity, he left in 2017 for ACF Fiorentina to return again to Heliópolis in August 2021.

Since his arrival at Real Betis Balompié, Pezzella has played a total of 169 official matches, thus helping to two European qualifications and the conquest of the Copa del Rey in 2022. Pezzella is currently one of the captains of Real Betis Balompié.
