Germán Pezzella returns to Real Betis Balompié. The Argentinian international becomes the fourth signing of the Club for the 2021/2022 season after Rui Silva, Youssouf Sabaly and Juan Miranda.

The champion of Copa America comes on a permanent transfer from ACF Fiorentina, where he has been for the past four seasons, playing more than 130 games in Serie A. After undergoing the medical test, Pezzella has signed a contract until 2025.

The defender born in Bahia Blanca (Argentina) comes back home in his prime. His first steps in Europe were at Real Betis. After two years as a Green and White, Pezzella moved to Italy, where he has strengthened his skills.
