Jorge Molina back training with the rest of the group
The Real Betis first team has started another week of training in the north of England, where they shall stay until next Friday 8 August. Five more days on the training pitches which started today with just one session, the team will take advantage of the afternoon off Julio Velázquez has given them to relax and travel to Newcastle, just 34 kilometres from the Heliopolitan team's hotel which is the base of this preseason camp.
This morning, the day started very well for the coach from Salamanca as Jorge Molina, who was absent from yesterday morning's session because of lumber overload, was back training with the rest of the group. So, the discomfort the forward from Alcoy was suffering, which was not important, did not stop him form participating completely in all the exercises the coaching staff had programmed for today with the rest of the team. Unfortunately, the same was not true for Isaac, who yesterday was forced to leave the afternoon workout because of a little discomfort in his right ankle. However, Juanfran and Lolo Reyes trained separately from the rest of the group, accompanied at all times by the fitness coach, Fran Molano.
In the final stages of the session, Velázquez concentrated the most demanding work, organising a series of training matches in which intensity was the keynote. To do the necessary tests on certain strategic movements with the ball in circulation applying pressure on their opponents when they have possession of the ball, Vélazquez used two teams of eleven players. The first of which consisted of: Dani Giménez; Caro, Bruno, Jordi Figueras, Casado; Cedrick, Carlos García, Matilla, Dani Pacheco; Rennella and Rubén Castro, whilst the second team was made up of: Molinero, Perquis, José Carlos, Álex Martínez; Chuli, Xavi Torres, Nono, Isuardi; Sergio Rodríguez and Jorge Molina, with Pedro and Antonio Adán alternating in goal.
