Leo Baptistao and Juanfran trained normally at Wednesday's training session
The Real Betis first team continued their preparation for next Sunday's match against Sevilla FC on the turf at the Luis del Sol Training Centre. The work session was especially positive as Calderón was able to count on Juanfran, Leo Baptistao and Ruben Castro, who had to abandon training yesterday before the Argentine manager had finished the day's session. The three footballers have progressed favourably overcoming their respective ailments; consequently, it is expected that they will train under the orders of the Argentine manager with complete normality prior to the match.
On the other hand, Álvaro Gónzalez, Varela, Sofian, Ignacio Abeledo and Dani Ceballos trained this morning under the watchful eye of Calderón; whilst on pitch number two Xavi Torres, Damien Perquis and Nacho continued with their functional re-adapting aimed at resolving their ailments which have been impeding them from training normally with the rest of the team. It was the same with Nosa Igiebor, who didn't participate this morning with the rest of the group making him the only absentee in relation with yesterday's session. The Nigerian midfielder, now completely recovered from his injuries had returned to work yesterday after one month's convalescence, presented flu symptoms so it was decided for him to undergo a gentler training session.
