MATCH REPORT | A great Betis leaves the three points at home (2-0)
A great football night at Benito Villamarín. Real Betis Balompié beat Getafe after a great performance from the whole team. The steam could score more goals, as the Green and Whites created many chances and hit the post four times.
From the kick-off, the team imposed their style and, step by step, began to be superior to their rival. This way, in the 13th minute, Willian José stroke home after a good play from Fekir. A few minutes later, the Frenchman got really close to scoring after a phenomenal personal play, but his shot hit the post.
In the second half, the team continued improving and doubled the lead soon. Willian José found the back of the net again after a great team play. The team did not stop attacking after that goal and Carvalho missed by inches. Iglesias, a couple of minutes later, hit the crossbar.
That was not the last time the posts denied the goal to the team. Rodri curled the ball into the woodwork. The rebound fell to Iglesias, whose header also hit the post. The final whistle came and Real Betis left three fantastic points at home.
