MATCH REPORT | Back to winning ways (0-3)

Real Betis Balompié won again today after putting three goals past Valencia CF. In a game that was closer than what the score reflects, the team took their chances in the second half and got the three points with goals from Willian José, Canales and Borja Iglesias.
The first half began with Valencia pressing high and displaying their usual intensity. Step by step, though, Betis tarted to have the possession and controlled the ball. Willian José had the first for the Green and Whites, but his effort was deflected wide by a defender.
The most dangerous chance for the team in the first half came through a free-kick shot by Canales that Mamardashvili deflected with problems. The first half ended with a chance for Valencia that Rui Silva saved.
Valencia came on strong in the second half. Soler tried with a powerful shot to which Silva responded well. In spite of the push from the home side, Betis struck first. Willian José received the ball inside the box, dribbled a defender and found the back of the net. The goal made Valencia intensify their pressure and, for the first time in the game, had the ball more than Real Betis.
However, the team defended well. And not just that. In the final minutes, two more goals arrived. First it was Canales who finished well a pass from Juanmi. And two minutes later, Borja Iglesias scored following a great team play.
