MATCH REPORT | Good victory in the second test of the preseason (2-0)

Real Betis Balompié won against UD Almería in the second game of the preseason for the Green and Whites. The men managed by Pellegrini put on a good performance that was sealed with goals from Marc Bartra and Aitor Ruibal.

The first chance was for Betis, quite early in the game with a corner kick that almost went in. Betis had started well and controlled the game from the beginning. The team took the lead in the 28th minute with a header from Bartra that went in.

Canales had a great opportunity to double the lead before half time following a great pass from Borja Iglesias, but his shot hit the post.

Only three minutes into the second half, Borja Iglesias had a great chance to score, but the keeper deflected his shot. Almería, on their part, had started the second half with a higher pressing. Tello tried from outside the box but the keeper saved his shot. The first and only dangerous chance for Almería came in the 56th minute with a free kick that went wide.

Betis tried again not long after with a shot from canals that was saved by Tarrés. A few minutes later, a defender cleared a shot from Bartra over the goal line.

Borja Iglesias had two consecutive chances near the end, both deflected by the keeper. In the injury time, Ruibal produced a sensational effort that went in by the to left corner.
