MATCH REPORT | The EuroBetis starts in good fashion (4-3)
Two years after the last continental night, Real Betis played again a UEFA Europa League game. With a spectacular comeback, the Green and Whites beat Celtic FC 4-3.
The match began with bad news for the men managed by Manuel Pellegrini, as the visitors scored twice in the first half an hour. The Scottish side, fairly superior in the first part of the game, took the lead. However, everything changed quickly, as Betis managed to score twice in just three minutes. First, Miranda finished a good team play. Then, Juanmi put the ball in the back of the net following a back pass from Borja Iglesias.
In the beginning of the second half, Real Betis continued with the good form showed at the end of the first. Borja Iglesias and Juanmi gave the lead to the team. But the game was not finished and really close to the end, Celtic reduced the lead to juts one goal.
