MATCH REPORT | The state of happiness continues (4-0)

A new magical night at Benito Villamarín. Real Betis Balompié put on a magnificent display to beat Deportivo Alavés. The team run the visitors over in the first half, when they score three goals, In the second, the team managed the score really well and even score a fourth goal in a memorable night.
In the first half, the Green and Whites were a hurricane that found no resistance in the opposition. The team did not take long to score the first. Borja Iglesias produced a powerful header to give the lads the lead. Alavés seemed to react timidly, but couldn't put Betis' defence under pressure. In fact, the home side had chances to score a second goal.
This in fact happened just before the first half hour. Canales got the ball in midfield, made a good run and put the ball in the top corner with a fantastic strike. When the first half was close to an end, Alavés defenders made a terrible mistake, leaving Iglesias alone to make the third.
Again, early in the second half, Real Betis score the fourth (and final) goal of the night. Fekir gave a great pass to Juanmi, who chipped the ball brilliantly over the keeper to close the score.
From that moment on, Alavés tried to attack some more, but Betis were controlling all aspects of the game. In fact, a fifth goal for the Green and Whites was closer than a first for Alavés.
