The Real Betis player Javier Magro Matilla has extended his relationship with the club until 30th June 2017. The footballer and Real Betis President, Miguel Guillen, signed the contract this afternoon at the Benito Villamarín Stadium. Matilla joined Real Betis two years ago. After a first season playing for Betis last season saw him on loan to Real Murcia where he gave remarkable performances. Since returning to the green and whites this summer, he has become a mainstay of the team coached by Pepe Mel and is destined to be one of the team's key midfielders in the forthcoming seasons. Javier Magro Matilla (Quero, Toledo, 16th June 1988) started in the ranks of the Albacete youth teams, followed by a stint at Villarreal CF before joining Real Betis.
