N’Diaye returns to Real Betis and signs for five seasons

Alfred N’Diaye  returns to Real Betis and this time it's a one-way trip. This morning, the versatile midfielder became the eighth reinforcement this season following the signings of Dani Giménez, Molinero, Casado, Bruno, Pacheco, Cejudo and Rennella.

The signing of the midfielder, whose performance and commitment were evident during the last season, has been one of the main objectives of the Club in its plan for promotion this season. Successfully signing N’Diaye has involved a significant financial commitment by the Club which, whilst completely focussed on the essential objective of moving back up into the First Division, also wants to build a good base for the future.

Following several weeks of negotiations with Sunderland and the footballer himself, a few minutes ago an agreement was reached between all parties. N’Diaye transfers from Sunderland and has signed for five seasons: “I was happy here and I felt valued. I always said that I wouldn't mind playing with Betis in the Second Division, but I am convinced that it will only be for one season”.

The player has already passed the medical evaluation, and this afternoon he will train alone before joining the group session in the morning: "I feel good, and if the coach wants me to, I am ready to travel and play". The Club has already requested the international transfer and hopes to have it sealed in time to enable him to travel to Sabadell if that's what the coach wants.

His presentation will be Monday.
