Pacheco: "We know what our responsibilities are and the Club we represent"

Since Dani Pacheco first found out about the interest Real Betis had in bringing him to the club he knew exactly what his decision was going to be. The winger was looking forward to getting match minutes and greater continuity which at the time he was not getting; he hopes to get it with the green-and-whites. "We are suffering a bit with the physical demands but that is only normal. I'm where I want to be and little by little we will be ready for the start of the season. It has been a long time since I have had the stability that I need and after a good year at Alcorcón it is an important step up for me. The decision was the right one for me after what had been happening over the last few years. Being out on loan you have to adapt to the situation that you are in, but now that the decision was mine I am much happier. Now it is up to me to prove things".

With the same clarity of mind which made it easy for him to know where he wanted to be, Pacheco also knows full well what it means to don the thirteen-striped shirt. “We know what our responsibilities are and the Club we represent. We are going to give it our all so that we can achieve our objective. We can work well but the Club's colours spur you on”.

He also spoke about the relationship Velázquez has with the team and with him. “We are in a period in which he wants everything under control and he is demanding a lot from us. We will be grateful for that in the end. He has told me what he wants of me and what I can bring to the team. The boss knows I am very comfortable on the left wing but I can adapt to anything”. The player gave his opinion on other issues in the following video.
