Real Betis amplifies their position in the Japanese soccer community for another season
Real Betis continues strengthening their presence in the Japanese soccer community with the renovation and amplification of their formative programs in collaboration with Wakatake Group.
Through the development of various programs during the two previous seasons, with the program Inside Real Betis with 24 Japanese soccer players and the creation of a campus in Kyoto, Real Betis and Wakatake Group have signed a new collaboration agreement. This will put the formative programs and the immersion program in the cantera under the methodology of the club into action during the 2023-2024 season.
One of the novelties of this agreement with Wakatake Group will be the celebration of two Real Betis Camps in the Japanese cities of Ibaraki and Chiba during the month of August of this year. In this fashion, the brand Betis will continue growing in the soccer community in the Asian country. These campuses will be developed under the club's techniques and the campuses will select the two best players that will enjoy the formative individual program of Inside Real Betis afterwards.
Real Betis Camp Japan will be the beginning of a high intensity program that will continue to receive high-level Japanese players that will have total immersion in the cantera, training during three months with the green and white Cantera teams.
Additionally, Real Betis will continue training with Katsumi Fujiwara, a Japanese soccer player who already spent the past season with the Club and who will continue during the 2023-24 season training in the club's cantera.
Additionally, like the former seasons, during these months they will receive 6 players that will be formed under the methodology of Real Betis, training in their installations and sharing frames and training with the Betis School, Real Betis Academy teams, and with other clubs that collaborate with Betis.
"Through the Wakatake Family we are delighted to amplify our formative agreement with Real Betis for another season. This agreement will permit more young Japanese players to form under the methodology of Real Betis Balompié; getting closer to the Betis experience through the formative projects that Wakatake and the club will develop together in Japan and Spain this season. Thank you to Real Betis Balompie for all of their confidence that they put into our soccer projects," affirmed Takeshita Inawake, CEO of Wakatake Group.
"With the development of this project, Real Betis will be positioned and seated in the Asian market, one of the objectives of the club for their international growth. We do this at the hand of the Wakatake Group for the third consecutive season. We will continue growing, getting to know talented Japanese players, and expanding the brand Betis in Asia. We are full of pride for the players and fans outside of our country and hope to give them a better understanding of soccer," declared Ramon Alarcón, CEO of Real Betis.
The entity already has social media in Japanese to generate passion and interest in their Asian fan base. The Club is working to open the new Real Betis Academy sites in the Asian continent, and also expand Forever Green in this market.
Real Betis Academy is a national and international program developing the soccer community of Real Betis Balompie. The objective of this project is to take the methodology of the Club to all the world in a permanent manner for the boys and girls who look to add value to their soccer experience and enjoy high-level training. More than 3,000 players form part of Betis Academy that already counts more than 31 international projects with sites in the United States, Mexico, Egypt, Iraq, Algeria, ZImbabwe, El Salvador, Venezuela, and Georgia.
