Real Betis Balompié and Sporting Clube de Portugal have reached an agreement for Rui Silva's loan, which includes a mandatory purchase at the end of the season.

The Portuguese goalkeeper arrived at the Verdiblancos in 2021/22 as a free agent after his successful time at Granada Club de Fútbol.

During these seasons as a Verdiblanco, he played 114 official matches. In addition, he played a crucial role in achieving the Copa del Rey title in 2022.
