Real Betis Balompié will launch a new international sporting project. Betis Academy On Tour is an initiative that will open football campuses in Norway, Dubai and Philippines. These three territories will join places such as Algeria, Bagdad, Zimbabwe or Arizona, where the Club already has a Betis Academy.

The activities of Betis Academy On Tour will begin in July with the development of Betis Camp Norway; Betis Camp Philippines will start in August; while Betis Camp Dubai will kickstart in September. The methodology used at the Club will be implement on those three sites.

This new international Project will be coordinated by Juan Parra, in charge of the Sport Area of Real Betis Foundation, and will have two coaches provided by Real Betis.

Betis Academy On Tour will be available for more than 100 footballers, aged between 16 and 23 years old, who will be able to improve their footballing skills during the camp. Apart from the camp itself, trips to Seville will be organized so the players can enjoy VIP Betis Experience through the program Behind The Scenes.

The camps will be launched together with The Football Academy. "Real Betis have a long history dedicated to football. They are in the top five in LaLiga, and we are pleased to work closely with them. We believe that this partnership will give unprecedented opportunities for young footballers to boost their sporting career" explained Ali El Jishi, founder and sporting director of The Football Academy.

"We keep generating interest outside our borders and taking our values and colours around the world through the methodology used by the Youth Teams at real Betis Balompié" stated Ramón Alarcón, Business General manager.

Juan Parra, in charge of the Sport Area of Real Betis Foundation, outlined the importance of this project from a porting point of view. "Projects like this prove that Real Betis and their Foundation are working so youngsters all around the globe can enjoy Betis, sport and their values," he explained.

Betis Academy is an international sporting project developed by Real Betis and their Foundation. They have a camp in Zimbabwe that began last season and has continued this year. Betis Academy is also underway in Algeria, Irak and Mexico. Also, several camps have been done in several locations: United States, Morocco or China, among others. This international area also has the project Behind The Scenes. Thanks to it, nine Japanese players have trained this year at Real Betis Balompié facilities.

Real Betis Foundation has been working for years with children in Seville with its Football School. Las season, more Academies have opened in other places in Andalusia.
