Real Betis celebrated the II Betis Week of the season in Mexico City

Real Betis has given new step to its internationalization strategy with the celebration of the I Betis Week in Mexico City. This action has encompassed different institutional, sporting and social events that have allowed us to relaunch all the previous expansion work carried out in the North American country in the last five years.
This is the second Betis Week of the 2023/24 season after the one held in Morocco in the month of October. On this occasion, the International section moved to Mexico, one of the most relevant markets based on the growth of audiences, both television and digital, and where Real Betis has been operating for several seasons.
Because the Club, together with LaLiga, has participated in two sports tours in Mexico, the first in 2019, where it played two matches, one against Querétaro FC and the other against Puebla FC, Liga MX teams; and the second, a few months ago, in which a Seville derby was played in the city of Guadalajara, the first in history played outside of Spain. Furthermore, in these seasons three training academies have been launched, with more than 800 children, and different commercial alliances have been signed.
Within this last Betis Week, the Club held a watch party together with LaLiga, a match viewing event attended by more than 400 people and which included a fan zone for Betis fans in the Mexican capital. Real Betis' regional sponsors in the country were also present in the action.
Likewise, a social sports action was carried out with children from one of the most humble areas of the town together with the NGO Fútbol Más. And, of course, coaches from Real Betis Balompié sports structure visited the Mexico City academy , which currently has more than 500 young players, to enhance the training of the technicians who work at this headquarters. The culmination was a meeting between local influencers in which the children of the academy participated.
This week of actions and events has represented another step in the brand's internationalization strategy, which consolidates Real Betis as one of the most relevant LaLiga clubs in the North American market.
