Real Betis spreads Forever Green values in Zagreb
As it did in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League round of 16, Real Betis is once again taking advantage of the European event to promote Forever Green's environmental sustainability beyond its borders.
Having just landed in the Croatian city, the green and white club gave a talk on the fight against climate change and Forever Green to the U-17 players of the GNK Dinamo Zagreb youth academy in the press room of the Maksimir Stadium.
Building on last week's team-up with the opposing team, which aims to raise awareness among football fans and other clubs about the importance of caring for the planet, the two teams teamed up again this week.
Hours before the match, both teams joined forces again to raise awareness among football fans and other clubs about the importance of caring for the planet. In this way, Rafael Gordillo, president of the Real Betis Balompié Foundation, and Ivan Kelava, legend of GNK Dinamo Zagreb, planted trees in the park next to the Croatian stadium.
In addition, during the pre-match, Real Betis Balompié volunteers will hand out bags so that the Green and Whites' fans concentrated in the area around the city can collect waste and leave the Croatian streets clean.
