Real Betis Balompié condenm and reject the events that the president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, was responsible of in the Women Word Cup final, as well as everything that happened in the last few days and, especially, what happened today in the general assembly that took place in the RFEF headquarters.

The Club would like to publicly support player Jenni hermoso and the players of the national teeam, who are making a claim for the dignity of women and against the abuse that sadly happens in sports, working environments, and society in general.

In addition, Real Betis support the actions developed by the CSD to relieve the current president of the RFEF, who cannot longer be the representative of Spanish football and the values of our sport.

Real Betis Balompié would like to again congratulate the world champion national team, with two players raised at our club, and would like to highlight the desire for this sad situation to not tarnish such and outstanding feat.
