Real Betis played against Arcos CF at the Antonio Barbadillo Stadium, a team playing in Group X of the Third Division. This is the first of three friendly matches which will bring the season to a close and the players will start their holidays.

Gabi Calderón opted for a starting 11 with a significant presence of apprentices, with up to 7 U18 players with Verdú, Nosa, Vadillo and Chuli completing the starting line-up. Pibe, who had his debut against us sooner last weekend, once again demonstrated his powerful shots and took part in the place that created most danger. In fact he opened the scoring for the visiting team. He came in from the right ring wing finishing the play with a hefty left footer from in front of the area in the second minute of play.

His goal and a beautiful piece of play by Vadillo, who flicked the ball with his heel onto his chest to initiate his slalom up the left wing which ended in a corner, were the highlights of the first half. Arcos levelled with a goal by Juanca in the third minute making it 1-1 and came close to going ahead in the 32nd minute. But Pedro shone with a stretch to stop Romero's penalty shot.

In the second half the manager completely remodelled the team on keeping Pibe in the same position. Prior to his substitution in the 66th minute the attacking midfielder from Argentina assisted Cedrick so that the Congolese player could score making it 1-2. Betis, now with the first team on the field of play, completely dominated the match. Betis is scoring tally increased when Salva Sevilla with a crossing shot from the left found the inside of their rivals post. Two minutes later Brian, off a centre by Chica, headed in the fourth goal for Betis.
