Real Betis Balompié have reached an agreement for the signing of Dani Ceballos, who has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Verdiblancos.

Daniel Ceballos (Utrera, 7 August 1996) returns to Real Betis, having joined the Club's academy as a youth player before making his LaLiga debut for the first team in 2014.

After three outstanding seasons with the Verdiblancos, Ceballos joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2017.

The midfielder remained with the Madrid side until this summer, winning two LaLiga titles, three UEFA Champions League trophies, two UEFA Super Cups, one Intercontinental Cup, three FIFA Club World Cups, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups.

His honours also include an FA Cup and an FA Community Shield with Arsenal, where he spent two seasons on loan between 2019 and 2021.

At international level, Ceballos has enjoyed a distinguished career with Spain, winning the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2015 and the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2019. He made his senior international debut in 2018 and has gone on to make 14 appearances for the national team.
