Real Betis Balompié were defeated by Chelsea FC in the final of the UEFA Conference League, held on Wednesday evening at the Stadion Wroc?aw in Poland. Despite a spirited performance and an early lead, the Verdiblancos were unable to overcome the Premier League side in what marked the Club's first-ever appearance in a European final.

Ez Abde opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a superb finish, giving Real Betis the advantage at halftime after a dominant first half. However, Chelsea responded strongly in the second period, with goals from Enzo Fernández (65'), Nicolas Jackson (70'), Jadon Sancho (83'), and Moisés Caicedo (91') securing a 4-1 victory for the English team.
