Rayo Vallecano has exercised the purchase option following the conclusion of Nobel Mendy's loan spell, securing the Senegalese defender as part of their first-team squad.

Mendy joined the club in the summer of 2023 on loan from Paris FC, before being signed permanently the following summer. During his time at the club, he made a total of 34 appearances for the reserve team and six for the first team.
