Defeat in Valencia (5-2)

Defensive mistakes and Levante's clinical finishing proved costly for the Verdiblancos

Real Betis Balompié suffered their first defeat of the season away to Levante UD, losing 5-2 at the Ciutat de València.

The Verdiblancos went into half-time level after a closely contested first half. However, two further defensive errors after the break proved costly for Manuel Pellegrini's side, as Levante made better use of their opportunities before putting the result beyond doubt in stoppage time.
