Real Betis Balompié and Cádiz CF have reached an agreement for the loan of Gonzalo Petit. The deal will see the Uruguayan striker spend the 2026/27 season with the Andalusian side. 

Petit joined Real Betis in the summer of 2025 from Club Nacional and subsequently spent time on loan at CD Mirandés and Granada CF. During the 2025/26 campaign, he made 35 appearances in LaLiga Hypermotion, scoring seven goals and providing one assist. He also made two appearances in Copa del Rey with CD Mirandés, scoring one goal.
