Chadi Riad left for Crystal Palace after the agreement between the clubs was reached. The Moroccan center-back arrived at Real Betis Balompié in the summer of 2023 from FC Barcelona on loan, being transferred permanently during the current season. He has played 30 official matches under Manuel Pellegrini's orders.
