Real Betis exercises buy option for Natan
The Brazilian defender signs a permanent contract until 2030
Real Betis Balompié has exercised the buy option for Natan included in the loan agreement reached last season with SSC Napoli. As a result, the Brazilian footballer will once again wear the Green and White jersey, this time as a permanent member of the squad until 2030.
Natan Bernardo de Souza (Itapecerica da Serra, February 6, 2001) began his professional career in the youth ranks of CR Flamengo, where he was part of the squad that won the Brazilian championship in 2020.
The Brazilian centre-back joined Real Betis on loan from SSC Napoli for the 2024/25 season. During his time with the Club, he made 52 appearances, scored 2 goals, and played a pivotal role in securing European qualification and reaching the final of the UEFA Conference League.
His outstanding performance throughout the campaign earned him a place in the UEFA Conference League Team of the Season.
