Troy Parrott, new Real Betis signing

Signs until 2031

Real Betis Balompié and AZ Alkmaar have reached an agreement for the transfer of Troy Parrott.

The Irish international striker becomes the newest signing this summer and has signed a contract until 2031.

Troy Parrott (Dublin, 4 February 2002) began his sporting career at Belvedere FC in Ireland, before moving to Tottenham's youth team in 2017. Following several loan spells in England with Millwall, Ipswich, MK Dons and Preston, he made the move to the Dutch Eredivisie, playing for Excelsior and AZ Alkmaar, the club from which he has joined us.

The new striker arrives having scored 31 goals and provided 12 assists last season with the Dutch side, where he won the Dutch Cup and Super Cup.

Parrott is also a regular for the Republic of Ireland national team, having made 37 international appearances and scored 11 goals.
