Born in Cuevas del Almanzora (Almería) in 1957. Although he holds a degree in Medicine, his professional career has seen him mainly work in the media and predominantly on the radio. He is considered one of the best broadcasters in the history of Spanish radio. In 2001 he was awarded the Andalusian Gold medal.
