Real Betis extends its collaboration agreement with Tokyo Verdy until 2027

Both clubs will continue working together on the implementation of institutional, commercial, sporting, and social initiatives, thereby boosting the international visibility of both brands

Real Betis and Tokyo Verdy have renewed for two more years the institutional collaboration agreement that both clubs initially signed last season. This alliance will therefore continue through the 2026/27 season.

As part of this agreement, both organizations will continue to jointly promote their institutional and sporting development through the following initiatives:

  • Collaboration in expanding their respective brands in Japan and Spain.
  • Cooperation in sponsorship, promotions, marketing, and merchandising areas.
  • Joint implementation of social and environmental initiatives through the Forever Green and TOKYO LOVE GREEN platforms.
  • Collaboration in organizing sporting events.
  • Exchange of football-related knowledge and expertise.

During the past 2024/25 season, delegations from both clubs visited Seville and Tokyo respectively to tour each team's sports facilities and hold various meetings with corporate and sporting department heads.

Additionally, among other activities, joint training sessions were held between Tokyo Verdy's youth coaches and the Real Betis Academy staff, with knowledge sharing between both sides. Sustainable initiatives were also carried out in collaboration with Forever Green and TOKYO LOVE GREEN prior to a J-League match in the Japanese capital. All these initiatives will continue over the next two seasons thanks to the renewal of this collaboration agreement.
