Junior Firpo joins Real Betis
The defender commits to the Verdiblancos until 2028 and is expected to join the squad in Seville next week.
Real Betis is set to welcome Junior Firpo (Santo Domingo, August 22, 1996) to its ranks. The full-back, a product of the club's youth academy, returns home following his spells at FC Barcelona and Leeds United FC.
Junior, who will sign a contract running until 2028, joined Real Betis' academy in 2014 to play for the club's top youth side. After progressing through the reserve team, he made his first-team debut in 2018.
The Dominican concluded his first spell with the Verdiblancos, having made 43 appearances, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists.
The new signing also counts a Copa del Rey title and a UEFA European Under-21 Championship with Spain among his career achievements.
