Álex Moreno, Loren and Joaquín scored the goals

Real Betis Balompié qualified today for the last 32 of Copa del Rey after beating Club Portugalete. The team dominated the game and won thanks to the goals scored by Álex Moreno, Loren and Joaquín.

The match began with the home team displaying a high pressing. Step by step, Betis began to control the ball and had the first chance with a shot from Canales that Mediavilla blocked. Tello had the next one, but his long-range shot went slightly wide.

Halfway through the first half, Betis scored the first. A long play by the team and Aleñá opened to the left where Álex Moreno produced a great shot that went in by the top left corner. First goal by the full back as a Green and White. Moreno almost doubled the lead but his effort went wide. Portugalete had their first chance near the end of the first period, but Alberto, completely alone, sent his shot wide.

Only three minutes had gone by in the second half when Betis doubled the lead. Loren headed a in a delivery from a corner kick. The team continued having the ball almost all the time and attacked continuously. Aleñá headed the ball over the bar in a close attempt.

Canales tried with a free kick that went millimeters away from the post.  Same result got Aleñá with a good shot from outside the box. When the game was almost finished, Joaquín closed the score with a good finish.
