Mandi and Sanabria scored the goals

Real Betis Balompié won three precious points tonight at Huesca. The team was better than its rival in a game played in an adverse weather, with really cold temperatures and a frozen pitch. Mandi and Sanabria, both with headers, scored the goals. On the negative side, Paul was sent-off on the day he made his debut in the starting eleven.

Twenty minutes into the game, the referee pointed to the spot in favour of Betis for a handball by Sandro. The VAR reviewed it and corrected the decision. Betis had some chances before half time, but could not open the score.

In the second half, the Green and White side continued attacking and looking for the goal. This way, in the 77th minute, Mandi headed in a cross delivered by Emerson. However, the game became difficult juts four minutes later when Paul saw his second yellow card of the game. Huesca pushed in the final minutes, but the team closed the score in the injury time with a goal by Sanabria.
