Real Betis have received 30 proposals in international competition for the New Stadium

11 national and 19 international candidates entered the competition, with some of the main references at global level

The first stage of the international competition in architecture and the urban and commercial development has finished with 30 official proposals. The time window for the proposal reception ended las Tuesday. The architecture firms interested had to present proof of experience in building top-tier stadiums, as well as their technical and business credentials to undertake a project of the required characteristics.

The interest raised by the competition has been outstanding, taking into consideration the quantity and quality of the proposals received by Real Betis, with some of the main names in the sector entering the competition. In this first stage, the Club has received 11 national and 19 international proposals, with candidates from the United States of America, United Kingdom and Germany.

The next step in the competition will the review of all the documents received. Once this process is over, the committee in charge of the New Stadium project will decide which proposal will make the cut for the final phase. On the 31st of March, the contestants will know if their proposal make it through to the next phase.
