Real Betis Balompié and player Víctor Ruiz have reached an agreement for the contract extension of the Catalan defender. In this way, Ruiz will be a Green and White until 2023.

Víctor Ruiz arrived to Real Betis in August of 2020. In the 2020/2021 season, Ruiz played 31 official games, 27 in LaLiga and four in Copa del Rey, and has scored two goals. His good performances made him become a crucial player in Betis' defence and has been key in qualifying the team for the Europa League.
