Real Betis and Atlético de Madrid have reached an agreement for the transfer of Rodrigo Riquelme. 

Rodrigo Riquelme Reche (Madrid, April 2, 2000) came through Atlético de Madrid's youth academy and made his first-team debut during the 2018/19 season.  After successful loan spells at CD Mirandés, AFC Bournemouth and Girona FC, he returned to Atlético for the 2023/24 campaign, during which he featured in the UEFA Champions League. 

A regular at every youth level for Spain's national teams, Riquelme earned his first senior cap in November 2023.
