Real Betis reach agreement with Fenerbahçe for the loan of Sofyan Amrabat

The Moroccan signs a season long loan with the Verdiblancos

Real Betis Balompié and Fenerbahçe have reached an agreement for the loan of Sofyan Amrabat until the end of the current season.

Born in Huizen, Netherlands 21 August 2006, Amrabat began his professional career at FC Utrecht, where he remained until 2017.

The midfielder, who holds both Moroccan and Dutch nationality, brings with him vast European experience, having represented Feyenoord, Club Brugge, Hellas Verona, Fiorentina, Manchester United and, most recently, Fenerbahçe.

Throughout his career, he has collected an FA Cup, a Belgian league title, a Dutch league title and two Dutch Super Cups.

Amrabat is a regular member of the Moroccan national team, with whom he achieved a historic fourth-place finish at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
